For clients in Virginia, USA As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I provide individual counseling and psychotherapy for grief, traumatic grief, trauma, anxiety, and other concerns. My approach is integrative and tailored to you, drawing from traditional psychotherapy as well as somatic and nervous-system approaches, mindfulness, parts work, integration of spirituality, and other practices when appropriate.
I use all the tools at my disposal depending on what is needed and what you are looking for. This can include any modality you read about on my site. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments via Zoom.
I do not take insurance. I am able to give you a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for Out of Network (OON) benefits. You can call your provider to see if they allow for OON. Most providers do allow for this and they will reimburse your fee depending on your co-pay and deductible.
Individual Grief Guidance and Support
For those outside Virginia If you live outside Virginia, I offer non-clinical individual grief support via Zoom. These sessions provide a place to explore your grief, receive guidance and support, develop practices and resources that can help you find ground after traumatic loss, navigate life after loss, and explore continuing bonds, meaning, and spiritual questions when those are important to you.
I draw upon all my training and knowledge as a certifed hypnotherapist, yoga therapist, grief support professional, and certified coaching professional as well as my own lived experience as a bereaved person.
This is grief support and guidance rather than psychotherapy and does not include mental health diagnosis or treatment and you may not use insurance for reimbursement in any way.
If you travel to Virginia for specific treatment modalities including IADC or intensive work with me, I can and will work in the capacity of licensed psychotherapist.
Intensive Work Together
For those who want focused, extended time to explore a particular concern or area of growth, I offer individualized intensive sessions and personalized retreats. Intensive work is available both to clients in Virginia and to people living outside Virginia, with the nature of our work tailored to your needs and location.
My current fee for services is $150 an hour for individual work. The initial session is 90 minutes and is $195 for that first meeting. After the first meeting, all sessions (with the exceptions listed below) are pro-rated by the hourly fee.
